New year, new portfolio, new reasons to rethink your showroom.
We've entered the final quarter of the calendar year, which means a few big things. Black Friday rushes, Christmas, and the new year.
If you've started planning your 2027 lighting ranges, now is a good time to take a look at what is coming next.
Every buyer knows the feeling of finding the perfect pendant, then discovering there's no matching wall light, the flush fitting is a different finish, and the lamp to go with it just doesn't exist. Suddenly, one easy sale becomes three supplier searches.
That's the problem the Searchlight 2027 Portfolio is built to fix.
Almost every design inside comes in a full family of formats, so you can build a whole scheme from a single range, whether you're refreshing your showroom or supplying a project.
Download the Searchlight 2027 Portfolio to get an early look at the collections that align with upcoming trends and will fly off the shelves next year.
If current interior and lighting trend forecasts are anything to go by, 2027 is shaping up to be less about cold minimalism and more about character, texture, sculptural forms and layered lighting.
Trend predictions are showing a lot of glass, warm, metallic finishes, tactile materials and flexible lighting.
Sound familiar?
That's because these ideas are the basis of our Searchlight 2027 Portfolio.
A hero piece gets customers through the door. A matching range keeps them buying.
Split is a prime example. It comes as a pendant, oval pendant, wall light, and flush fitting, all in soft gold metal with split concave segments. This range gives customers the opportunity to carry the same design language throughout a project.
Formalux pairs soft gold metal with milky glass for a gentler feel. The 10-light pendant is the showpiece, while the 2-light wall light and 6-light flush carry the look across the rest of a project.
For more traditional tastes, Alba mixes antique brass frames with champagne glass. It runs from statement pendants down to a 2-light wall light and 4-light flush, so it works for grand entrance halls and smaller spaces alike.
For trade buyers, this means that one range can work across an entire project, rather than being a one-off sale.
You'll notice glass is all over the Searchlight 2027 Portfolio, and it's easy to see why. It photographs well, suits almost any interior, and it gives customers plenty of ways to make a scheme their own.
Bowlight: softly bowed clear glass hanging from a gold-finish frame. The 8-light diner bar pendant is made for dining tables and kitchen islands, and the 5-light pendant, semi-flush and wall light, finishes the scheme.
Carrara: marble glass spheres with latte metal. Choose from a 4-light bar pendant, 1-light pendant, wall light with reading arm and table lamp.
Swizzle: frosted glass rods inspired by cocktail glasses, available in sand, matt black and gold. It covers ceiling and wall lighting, plus a table lamp and floor lamp.
This is yet another example of how having a family of products can be commercially useful. Customers can choose the format they need, without having to compromise on the overall look.
The 2027 Portfolio also reflects something we're seeing more widely across lighting: customers want greater control over how and where they use light.
Current industry trend research is putting a growing emphasis on adaptability and lighting that can respond to different uses and times of day.
Searchlight has built that flexibility into several 2027 designs.
Solis includes a 1-light LED pendant, 3-light flush, multi-drop pendant, bar pendants and a rechargeable table lamp.
Tumblers offers a 5-light bar pendant, multi-drop pendant and a rechargeable table lamp, ideal for adding a flexible layer of light wherever it's needed.
Rechargeable table lamps appear across several 2027 ranges, so it's well worth having a cordless option ready when customers ask.
Gold isn't going anywhere, but the 2027 Portfolio shows a much broader palette of warm finishes.
Soft gold
Antique brass
Bronze
Latte
Mocha
Champagne
You'll notice these tones in the Opus Lux range, where bronze meets amber glass and switchable 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K colour temperatures.
And that brings us to another point.
Customers want flexibility to adapt lighting to meet their preference (without the price point of custom pieces). Adaptable lighting delivers exactly what they're looking for, within budget.
Quite a lot, as it turns out.
From decorative collections and statement lighting to Lux & Belle and a Project Collection designed as a toolkit for lighting specifiers, the 2027 Portfolio is built to cover far more than the next showroom refresh.
We've only scratched the surface here.

Because knowing what's coming next is useful. Knowing what you can actually sell is even better.
